Feels Like Fall

We finally had a weekend where it wasn't scorching hot!  Yay!!!

Here is your weekly review in photos:

Tuesday, October 20

Since it was a nice night and Leif finished his dinner a little early, we decided to take a quick family walk with the hiker.
Wednesday, October 21

After bath time we had a little family moment while brushing teeth...it was fun.  :)

Leif decided he wanted to read a book before bedtime on his own first.

 Saturday, October 24

Friday night/Saturday morning was rough...Leif woke up at midnight and at 3am calling for me.  Since he was sick for so long, we were allowing him to sleep in our bed when he'd wake up in the middle of the night, but he got used to it...so we had to go back to sleep training.  It was tough but we were consistent and he slept in his crib.  BUT...he still woke up early and was a crazy toddler all day.  It took a while to get him down for a nap, and when I left him he woke up 20 minutes later.  So I laid back down with him, and then Hubs came and laid down and fell asleep with him.  I got about 30 minutes of down time that afternoon, woohoo!  When he woke up, he was still out of it...thus the cute, cuddly photo.

After lunch we drove around and found a really nice park in Calabasas.  Commence cute swing photos...

Sunday, October 25

We didn't end up doing much on Saturday besides lunch/park, so I was on a mission to take us to a pumpkin patch that morning!  After hitting up one of our favorite breakfast places near our last townhouse, we ended up at Forneris Farms in Mission Hills.  :)

Look at the row of sunflowers!

On the train around the farm-couldn't get this kid to smile!

In the corn maze!

Leif was fascinated with daddy's camera
For $15, it really wasn't worth it, but at least Leif got to go to his first pumpkin patch.  Funny, I don't have any photos of him with pumpkins.

That day Leif was crazy, but it was our fault.  After the farm he fell asleep but Hubs didn't want to go home right away, so we ended up at Target.  Leif was asleep for a little while but not enough-and was going crazy at Target.  He didn't fall asleep on the way home, and every time I tried to put him down for a nap he fought me.  So he was one super crazy kid all afternoon...

He wanted to get back into his pirate costume and so he was a pirate most of the afternoon.

Remember my goals I listed in my last post?  Well, I accomplished all of them!  I put up, well, one Halloween decoration, haha.  Hubs did string some Halloween lights up which was nice!  I got through 35 minutes of my pregnancy yoga DVD, AND I finished an arts & craft project:

Wrap bracelet that took forever!

I was striving for five strands, but four was enough.  :) It's not perfect but I still love it!
Aaaaaand we leave in three days for Washington!  Yaaaaaaaaay!!!!
